أحسب أنّ الإحساس الحقيقي بالأمان سيتحقق حين ندرك أننا جميعًا أبناء جنسٍ بشريٍّ واحد. فولاؤنا الأول للإنسانية، لا للونٍ بعينه ولا لحدودٍ بعينها. وكلما أسرعنا في التخلّي عن قداسة هذه الهويات المتعددة، وسعينا إلى التماهي مع الجنس البشري، أسرعنا في بلوغ عالمٍ أفضل وأكثر أمانًا.
