ما إن نكفّ عن الإيمان بهذا المهندس، وبخطابٍ يقطع مع الخطاب التاريخي المتوارث، وما إن نُقرّ بأن كل خطاب محدود يقوم على نوعٍ من الترقيع والتدبير، وبأن المهندس والعالِم نفسيهما ضربٌ من المُرقِّعين، حتى تُهدَّد فكرةُ الترقيع ذاتها، وينهار الفرقُ الذي اكتسبت به معناها.
