يأتيني أناس ويطلبون مني أن أوقّع على مسدساتهم. أن أكتب اسمي على مقابض المسدسات وأغمادها وما شابه. فعلتُ ذلك مرة أو مرتين لرجال إنفاذ القانون، أما حين يفعل الناس ذلك، وقد تكرّر هذا كثيرًا في الآونة الأخيرة، فأرفض دائمًا. لا أريد ذلك. لا أريد اسمي على هذا الشيء، وآمل أن تُستخدم هذه البندقية، مهما كان غرضها، استخدامًا حكيمًا.
