لا يَنفرُ الرسّامون من الناس كبرًا بحال، بل لأنهم لا يجدون شغلًا يعدل الرسم، أو لكيلا يُفسدوا أنفسهم بحديث الفارغين العاطلين، ولكيلا يُحطّوا من عقولهم عن تلك التخيلات السامية التي تستغرقهم دائمًا.
