كفّ عن انتظار وقت أفضل وأنسب لتكون سعيدًا، وركّز على اللحظة التي تعيشها. فالسعادة ليست وصولًا، بل هي الرحلة نفسها. يسعى كثيرون إلى السعادة فوق مستوى البشر، وآخرون دونه. ومع ذلك، فالسعادة في المستوى الذي هو بالضبط مستوى الإنسان.
